What the content is

The briefs are written by this site from reports published by other newsrooms. Those newsrooms own their reporting, their article text and their photographs; this site claims none of it. The briefs themselves, the design and the code belong to this publication.

Accuracy

Briefs are summaries of what someone else reported, produced automatically and at speed. They may be incomplete or overtaken by events. Each story names the newsroom whose reporting it is based on. This site is offered as it is, with no warranty that it is accurate, current or fit for any particular purpose, and the publisher is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a brief.
